Why Pilotpedia exists

Most travel sites treat flying as an afterthought — a line item between "things to pack" and "where to eat." We think flying deserves its own encyclopedia.

Pilotpedia started from a simple frustration: the best information about booking smarter, earning miles, and navigating airports is scattered across forums, outdated blog posts, and confusing airline pages. We're building the single place that brings it all together — clearly, honestly, and kept up to date.

We're not trying to be another generic travel blog. Everything here is about the act of flying itself: how to book it, how to survive it, how to make it better.

What we stand for

Accuracy first

Every guide is fact-checked against official airline, airport, and aviation authority sources — not copied from other blogs.

Honest recommendations

We may earn a commission on some links, but that never decides what we recommend. If a deal isn't worth it, we'll say so.

Kept current

Airline rules, fare rules, and loyalty programs change constantly — we revisit and update our guides as things shift.
